The Dallas Cowboys held a staff assembly following proprietor Jerry Jones’ feedback that any participant disrespecting the flag wouldn’t play, in accordance with Ian Rapoport of NFL Community.

Rapoport notes the assembly was to debate the anthem challenge and to air out frustrations.

Jones made headlines Sunday when he said the Cowboys would “rise up for the flag.”

“But when there’s something that’s disrespectful to the flag we won’t play,” Jones stated. “You perceive? If we’re disrespecting the flag we cannot play. Interval. We will respect the flag.”

Jones’ feedback prompted Native one hundred of the United Labor Unions to file a grievance with the Nationwide Labor Relations Board over the difficulty.
