Michael Jordan as soon as give up basketball to play baseball, and now he seems prepared so as to add a minority share in a MLB franchise to his duties as an NBA group proprietor. Jordan is a part of Derek Jeter’s possession group that Jeffrey Loria has reportedly agreed to promote the Miami Marlins to for $1.2 billion.

Jordan confirmed his involvement with the bid final month.

Jeter and Jordan have been shut for years, with Jeter the longtime face of the Jordan Model’s baseball line. Jordan turned the bulk proprietor of the then-Charlotte Bobcats in 2010, and led the cost to revert the franchise to its unique Hornets identify in 2014.

To be official, the Marlins’ sale have to be accredited by three-quarters of MLB’s 30 house owners.
