Lee Dixon, Trevor Sinclair, and Terry Butcher are amongst thirteen former gamers, managers, and officers chosen by the Soccer Affiliation to supervise its new drive to determine “profitable deception of a match official.”

The initiative has been carried out with a specific give attention to diving, and can see gamers hit with a two-match ban if all three members chosen from the thirteen-individual panel deem them responsible of deceiving a match official after viewing submit-match footage.

There’s notably no retired strikers within the group. There are, nevertheless, two goalkeepers and 4 defenders.

Of the thirteen sitting on the panel, Rachel Brown-Finnis is the one lady.

Responsible gamers are capable of ship costs again for a second evaluation with an attraction. For these wrongly adjudged to have fouled a diving participant, their playing cards may be retrospectively rescinded.

English soccer is slightly late to the get together in terms of actively condemning diving. Simply north of the border, the Scottish Soccer Affiliation launched comparable bans for deception in 2011.
