The New York Knicks are narrowing in on Phil Jackson’s successor.

New York met with Sacramento Kings vice chairman Scott Perry to debate him filling the Knicks’ common supervisor emptiness Thursday, sources advised ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Ian Begley.

The Kings granted Perry permission for the assembly since it might be a promotion, Wojnarowski added.
